The Chennai Rainbow Pride / Self Respect march will be held on the last Sunday of June, 2024, subject to receipt of police permission. Initiated in 2009, the march went on a two year hiatus (2020-2021). as a precautionary measure against the SARS-COV2 pandemic when many of the Pride volunteers were focused on relief work and resource mobilisation for this purpose.
