Navtej Johar case

January 9, 2018:
The Navtej Johar and others vs. Union of India writ petition of April 2016, challenging the constitutionality of Section 377 has been assigned to a five judge constitutional bench. Petitioners involved with other cases such as Akkai Padmashali and others vs. Union of India (writ petition, 2016) and the Curative Petition (Naz, Voices Against 377, Parents, Mental Health Professionals, Educators) will be tagging their cases with the Johar challenge to 377.

The case is #4 in a list that will be open for hearing on Jan 17, 2017. We will be posting developments on this case on this page.
