History:

The Chennai Rainbow Pride / Self Respect march has been held in Chennai since 2009 till 2019 anually. There was a two year hiatus due to SARS-COV2 pandemic when many of the Pride volunteers were focused on relief work and resource mobilisation for this purpose. We are fortunate enough to resume the pride march starting 2022.
