Events after Supreme Court failed to consider review petition

On January 28, 2014, the Supreme Court summarily dismissed the review petitions and brought us back to  pre-2009 times. Besides community statements, there have been gatherings around the country, including a protest in Delhi, a candlelight vigil in Bangalore, and a stock-taking meeting in Chennai. Queering Republic Day: 377-related events on Jan 26, 2014

January 26, 2014, will be the first Republic Day since the Supreme Court of India re-criminalized same-sex behavior among consenting adults.  Awareness drives and solidarity events are scheduled in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Johannesburg.
